1. How do I search for tyres to fit my vehicle?
You can search via the “Tyres” page (top banner of the website). The tyre size is printed on the sidewall of your current tyres, usually in a format like:
• 215/45R17
- Width: 215mm
- Profile: 45% of the width
- Rim size: 17 inches
Important notes:
- Some vehicles use different sizes for front and rear tyres.
- The most important filters to use are Width, Profile, Rim Size, and Classification (vehicle type).
Classification categories:
- 4WD/SUV – For heavier vehicles, with on road and off-road options
- Competition Performance – Sports-oriented tyres designed for grip and traction
- EV – Designed specifically for electric vehicles
- Passenger – Standard tyres for cars and non-SUV/Ute vehicles

2. Do you provide tyre fitting and balancing, or just delivery?
Yes — Tiremate offers both tyre delivery and mobile tyre fitting & balancing within the Auckland region.
At checkout, customers can choose:
- Delivery Only – Tyres are delivered to your chosen address
- Mobile Tyre Fitting & Balancing – Tyres are delivered, fitted, and balanced at your location using our mobile tyre fitting service
Deliveries and Mobile fitting is carried out on Saturdays by appointment, and pricing is clearly shown at checkout when this option is selected.
For Mobile tyre fittings, please ensure safe access to the vehicle, a solid level surface, and locking wheel nut keys (if applicable).

3. Which areas do you service?
Currently, Tiremate services customers across Auckland only, for both delivery and mobile tyre fitting.
As we grow, we plan to expand services nationwide.
4. When will my tyres be delivered or fitted?
To keep pricing competitive, standard delivery and mobile fitting services are scheduled for Saturdays.
Once your order is confirmed, we’ll contact you to confirm or agree on a suitable Saturday for delivery or fitting.
If you need an alternative time, please contact us — availability is assessed case by case and additional charges may apply.
5. Are your tyres new?
Yes — Tiremate only sells brand-new tyres from trusted, established local suppliers.
We do not sell second-hand or retread tyres.
6. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept:
- Major credit and debit cards
- Direct bank transfer
Orders paid via bank transfer are confirmed once funds have cleared to Tiremate Limited.
7. What if the tyre I want isn’t in stock?
If a tyre is temporarily unavailable, contact us for:
- Estimated restock dates
- Recommendations for suitable alternatives
8. Do you sell agriculture and commercial tyres?
Yes — Tiremate can supply agriculture and commercial tyres.
As these are not listed online, please contact us with your required size and application, and we’ll do our best to source suitable options.
9. How do your prices compare to other tyre shops?
We focus on keeping margins low and working directly with suppliers.
This allows us to offer competitive, transparent pricing without compromising safety or quality.
10. Will you be expanding outside Auckland?
Yes — our long-term vision is to expand delivery and mobile tyre services nationwide as Tiremate grows.
11. Can I return my tyres if I change my mind?
Yes — returns can be requested within 30 days,
provided tyres are:
- Unused
- In original condition
- With all original labels and stickers intact
Please note:
- Freight costs are the customer’s responsibility
- A handling and restocking fee of up to 20% + GST may apply
- Sale or clearance items are not eligible for return
12. What if my tyres are damaged, defective, or
incorrect?
Please inspect your tyres upon delivery.
If there’s an issue, contact us immediately and we’ll work with you to resolve it — including replacement or refund where applicable.
13. How do I request a return or refund?

Please do not send tyres back before contacting us.
Once approved and inspected, refunds are processed within 10 business days (bank processing times may vary).
